GET fit and help raise money for a good cause at the same time, by supporting the Argus-backed Sparkle Appeal.
Thanks to your support the appeal saw the new Serennu Centre open in April to begin providing therapy and treatment for children and young people who are disabled or have developmental difficulties.
Run by the Aneurin Bevan Health Board, the integrated centre will include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, paediatrician-run services and Newport council’s children and disabilities team.
Although the centre is open, the Sparkle Appeal still needs your help to raise funds to finish kitting out the facility and helping with running costs.
On July 17, why not take part in the Sparkle Zumbathon from 10am to noon at the Hilton hotel, Newport. To find out how to get involved, contact the Sparkle office on 01633 748092 or email info@sparkleappeal.
