CHEPSTOW woman Becky Rush, 31, who recently scooped the title of Welsh Curvette of the Year, has done the double, beating 250 other contenders from across the UK to become the national Curvette of the Year.
Becky, of Brockweir, is a speech and language therapist and support worker for people with disabilities.
She joined her local branch of Curves in Chepstow over twoand- a-half years ago, after looking for a fitness regime that would fit in with her busy lifestyle. Becky was selected by Simon Griffiths, who runs the Chepstow and Caldicot branches of Curves, to represent the region in the national competition.
Last week, Becky was on her way to a Curves session, when she received a phone call telling her that she had won the title to become Curvette of the Year, along with a £3,000 holiday to Cuba and a year’s free Curves membership. She said: “It was a complete shock as I was convinced one of the other women were going to win.”
