YOUNGSTERS and staff at a Gwent nursery donned pirate costumes to complete a ‘Big Toddle’ in aid of charity.
Around 80 children and 20 staff from Seren Fach nursery, Ponthir, took part in the one-mile event around a local cricket pavilion to raise money for children’s charity Barnardo’s.
Staff and children from the nursery take part in the event every year and are hoping to raise around £800 this time round.
Nursery manager, Vicky Raymond said: “The children all loved it and had a pirate party afterwards too.”
