DELAYS of one hour and queueing traffic for seven miles are reported today due to a broken down vehicle on the M4 near the Second Severn crossing.
The stretch of motorway affected is eastbound between the toll Booths and J22 M49 and congestion is repored on the M4 to J23 M48 (Magor).
The wide load vehicle was travelling eastbound through the roadworks area but collided with a number of traffic cones.
Traffic was stopped for a short time whilst the vehicle was escorted in to a closed lane.
Motorists are advised to travel on the M48 old Severn Bridge.
