A HUMAN electricity circuit, an Alka-Seltzer rocket and a clucking bucket are all part of the fun as the Techniquest roadshow comes to Newport.

The science discovery centre, which has a museum in Cardiff, is touring parts of Wales with the roadshow as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.

The two-day Newport roadshow, which continues at the Kingsway Centre today has a wide variety of science demonstrations and exhibits for visitors.

This includes how to light a light bulb with no electricity and shooting a canister into the air using the gas from a dissolved Alka-Seltzer.
