The champagne and Pimm's were brought out at the weekend as more than 2,000 people enjoyed the first-ever polo event to be held at the Celtic Manor Resort.
As the sun shone down, men and women dressed up in their finest gear enjoyed the glamorous afternoon of Elemis Polo at the Manor which saw the Celtic Manor team take the title winning 7-6 against Cirencester Park after four chukkas.
A second match was also played between teams Latch and Luxury Holidays To with Latch emerging winners.
Around 1,000 of the guest were treated to hospitality treatment throughout the day which included a three-course meal in a huge marquee and adjoining private pods.
Among the celebrity guests were Strictly Come Dancing’s Brendan Cole, Welsh rugby legend Gareth Edwards and Countryfile presenter Julia Bradbury.
Elsewhere spectators included locals as well as people from further afield.
Catherine Pope, 26, Charlotte Williams, 27, and Jess Rhead, 28, all from Caerleon, were among the many women enjoying a girls’ day out.
Miss Pope said: "This is the first time we have been to a polo match. It’s been a great day."

As well as watching the matches, guests helped out with the half-time custom of ‘treading the divots’.
A best dressed competition sponsored by John Lewis added to the occasion while a charity raffle raised funds for Welsh children’s charity Latch with one auction lot – a luxury holiday to Dubai – going for £6,000.
Chief Executive of the Celtic Manor Resort, Dylan Matthews said: "We’re delighted that the first Elemis Polo at the Manor has been a sell-out success and look forward to making this event a fixture on the Welsh sporting calendar."
