A STUDENT from Monmouth was crowned Mr Wales 2011 at the weekend.
Rhodri Ihenacho, 18, beat off 24 other hopefuls in the grand final on Saturday at St David’s Hall, Cardiff.
In the run-up to the final, the public were able to cast their votes for their favourite, with the top three getting a point’s head start in the final.
The competition is run to raise funds for the Joshua Foundation and Mr Ihenacho will now represent Wales on an international stage in either Manhunt International or Mister World.
He also gets to judge the regional heats of Miss Wales next year.
