A NEWPORT man was arrested in Belgium on suspicion of murdering a man in Pill, Gwent Police said.
48-year-old Richard Carslake was found dead in a flat on Jeddo Street in the Pill area of Newport on 6 April.
The 40-year-old Newport man was arrested in Antwerp, from where Gwent Police hope to extradite him.
A 19-year-old man from Pontypool, Torfaen, has previously appeared in court charged with Mr Carslake's murder.
