THE last day of term will be a poignant one for two popular Chepstow Comprehensive School teachers.
Headmaster John Barnbrook, and a former head of sixth form, Jackie Long, are retiring.
Mr Barnbrook, 58, became head nine years ago. He said: “This school is a fantastic place.
"It has the most dedicated and polite pupils and I love showing people around the school so that they can see for themselves how respectful they are.”
Mrs Long, 58, began as a student teacher and stayed. She said: “The best part of my job has been the feeling you can make a real difference.”
