POLICE want to trace the drivers or passengers of these cars, which were spotted on an Oakdale road near where a man was found dead.
Officers investigating the death of 27-year-old Ian Hamilton, who was also known as Parker, are reappealing for anyone who was walking or driving along Penmaen Road between the hours of 2am and 4am Sunday July 17 to come forward.
Police want to speak to the drivers or occupants of these light coloured vehicles captured on CCTV within the time frame of their investigation.
Mr Hamilton, from Bristol, was discovered at the side of Penmaen Road between Oakdale and Pontllanfraith in the early hours of Sunday morning. He was visiting family in the area and had been at a party the night before he died.
Wearing combat trousers, a black vest and dog tags, he was seen walking from Blackwood bus station and it is known he walked along Penmaen Road in the direction of Oakdale. It is not known if he was attacked prior to his death.
Officers are continuing to support Mr Hamilton’s family and are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death, which they are currently treating as unexplained.
