NEWPORT’S Belle Vue Park and the grounds of Tredegar House proved they are two of the best in the country after both received Green Flag Awards.
The award is a sign that the park is well-maintained and well-managed, with excellent facilities.
This is the fourth successive year Belle Vue Park has received the award and the second year for Tredegar House.
Councillor Mike Hamilton, cabinet member for leisure and culture, said: “Newport City Council and our dedicated park staff continue to make our parks the best they can be.”
