THE first night time closure of the westbound Brynglas tunnel on the M4 is to take place tonight.
A Welsh Assembly Goverment spokesman said that in order to reduce the impact to road users work to reinstall temporary lighting will begin at 8pm, subject to traffic levels, and will finish before 6am the following day.
A diversion route for the westbound tunnel will be run northwards via the A4042.
There will be further closures for the next week.
