A RISCA man arrested in connection with the death of Ian Hamilton in Oakdale was charged last night.
Mr Hamilton, 27, was found dead on the side of Penmaen Road in the early hours of July 17.
A 22-year-old man and 18-year-old woman, both from Risca, were arrested in connection with his death yesterday.
Last night, the man was charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop after a road accident, failing to report a road accident, driving with no insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. He is due to appear before Caerphilly Magistrates' Court this morning.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said the woman was released with no further action.
