IF YOU went down to the canal this week, you’d have been in for a big surprise.
Katie Cottrell, five, and Tiana Harris, four, were among the children who enjoyed the teddy bears picnic at The Fourteen Locks visitor centre in Rogerstone.
The vistor centre at the locks was opened in 2008, and the attraction previously won £70,000 from the Heritage Lottery to restore locks 17, 18, 19 and 20.
