Beaufort Street will be closed the night before the event. King Street (from the Heads of the Valleys roundabout to the junction with Beaufort Street), Market Square and Blaenavon Road B4248 (between the two roundabouts).

4.13pm: Torch travels up Stow Hill and turns left onto Friar's Road at approx 4.21pm
4.25pm: Torch turns left onto Waterloo Road
4.28pm: Torch turns right onto Cardiff Road and travels past McDonalds and Tesco superstore through Maesglas
4.35pm: The Torch will go back to its travelling convoy mode at St Bride's Gardens at 4.36pm to continue to Pencarn Way.
4.41pm: From 30mph sign on Pencarn Way to Lloyds TSB torchbearer mode returns before it stops for a short while at Lloyds TSB
5.21pm: Torch leaves Lloyds TSB and turns left onto Pencarn Way to the 40mph sign before switching back to convoy mode and travelling along the A48 to Cardiff.
