MORE than £2,000 was raised at a charity cricket match between Usk Cricket club and the Newport Gwent Dragons.

The Twenty20match was held at the cricket club in aid of the club’s chosen charities LMBBS and St David’s Foundation.

The Dragons side, which took the winning title was co-captained by Pat Leach and Joe Bedford and included the likes of Adam Hughes, Lewis Evans and Ashley Smith.

LMBBS supports sufferers of Laurence-Moon-Bardet- Biedl Syndrome and their families. LMBBS is a rare condition which can cause symptoms including visual impairment, extra fingers and/or toes and obesity.
