VISITORS to Chepstow Racecourse on Bank Holiday Monday can expect a little more than horses as the stars of the day as the racecourse will also play host to a famous pig.
Children’s TV star Peppa Pig will be the special attraction at a super family-orientated fun day on Monday as the racecourse stages another competitive all-action meeting. Young fans will get the opportunity to meet and greet the television star throughout the day.
As well as meeting Peppa there will also be a variety of free events, including facepainting, inflatables, a bouncy castle, a cup and saucer ride and trampolining.
The first race of the day takes place at 2.05pm with the finale at 5.35pm, so it should be a great day of entertainment for everyone with the jockeys easy to spot in the crowds with their brightly coloured silks and great views available to all.
Special family tickets for the event are available at £30, which includes Premier enclosure entry for two adults with the children going free.
There is also a special twocourse lunch available in the Silks Restaurant for £45 which includes a reserved table for the whole afternoon. And children under five eat for free.
The children’s events begin at 12.05pm. For information see Chepstow-racecourse.co.uk or phone 01291 622260.
