MONMOUTH Festival ends this weekend with acts that include contemporary folk ‘bad boys’, prog rock legends Wishbone Ash, local stalwarts The Ronaldos, a male voice choir and a Latin nine-piece.
Today local folk/rockers Hame kick off the evening at the Three Horseshoes and are followed by high-energy bad boys of folk, Rusty Shackle.
Opera singer William Mackie will perform at St Mary’s Church, and Paul Ford plays acoustic rock favourites at the Green Dragon. The main stage acts will be local band The Ronaldos (featuring ex- T’Pau member Ronnie Rogers) and the legendary Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash.
The festival ends tomorrow with Poco Latino and New Amen Corner on the main stage (come dressed for the 60s, you can be sure the band will!); Pontnewydd Male Voice Choir at St Mary’s Church and country/rock duo Dougie and Rach at the Green Dragon.
