Leading barrister Patrick Harrington, QC, was guest speaker at the Monmouthshire Incorporated Law Society Summer Ball staged at the Celtic Manor Resort.
Mr Harrington, originally from Ebbw Vale and who lives in Monmouthshire, entertained a gathering of 230 which included judges, law society members, sponsors and their guests, at the glittering black tie event hosted by the society’s President Keith Evans, of Newport based solicitors, Keith Evans and Company. Charity money raised during the evening, which amounted to £1,800, from a raffle and silent auction will be donated to the Sparkle Appeal. Even sponsors were the Monmouthshire Building Society, Thirty Park Place Chambers and UHY Hacker Young Chartered Accountants and Thomas Carroll Group.
