South Wales-based Henry Howard Finance Plc is celebrating being shortlisted for a top industry award on the back of recording its busiest individual month in the company’s 17-year history.
The leading independent asset finance house and brokerage lent in excess of £6m worth of funding for the month of September with lucrative agreements across the supplier and SME sectors.
Henry Howard Finance has its headquarters in Newport, and provides equipment suppliers and SMEs with various asset finance and refinance options to purchase business equipment.
The firm is one of Wales’ largest independent asset finance house and broker and the company’s growth has been recognised by Leasing World magazine. The company is shortlisted for ‘Top Business Asset Broker Award’ in The Leasing World Awards, which take place tomorrow (October 2nd.)
Henry Howard has built up a portfolio in excess of £100m that includes more than 10,000 different UK-based businesses.
The company is a major player in lending to Welsh businesses and has forged several sport sponsorship partnerships with clubs and teams in the Newport area.
The company was recently announced as Newport County AFC’s official Academy partner, which includes kit sponsorship for the Junior Academy all the way through to the Senior Academy and the Newport County AFC Ladies’ team.
Joint managing director of Henry Howard, Mark Crook, said: “It has been an incredibly busy few months for Henry Howard, but the rewards speak for themselves. It is great to be recording our best trading month to date, particularly in the current economic climate. We are becoming more recognised as an entirely viable finance alternative since recent and well-documented cuts in liquidity and borrowing from banks. We offer business finance options for a huge range of transactions.”
