Newly-launched South Wales-based independent financial advisors, Carbon Financial Planning, has appointed a new chartered financial planner to service growing demands from clients.

Chris Richardson, 35, from Bristol, joins Carbon Financial Planning as it looks to grow since beginning operations earlier this year. Chris will work to provide a range of corporate financial services including auto enrolment preparation, director pension planning, key person protection and stakeholder protection solutions.

Mr Richardson has more than a decade’s experience in the personal finance sector, most recently as Millfield Capital’s representative for South Wales, Bristol and the south of England.

As a chartered financial planner, a status only awarded to those with significant experience, ability and ethical commitment, Chris will further strengthen Carbon’s expertise to assist with the growth of the firm’s expanding client portfolio, across its offices in south Wales and Bristol.

He said: “Few teams succeed to develop the outstanding reputation Carbon has already achieved. I am excited to be given the chance join them at this initial stage and contribute to their expansion.

Chris qualified as an independent financial advisor in 2005 and achieved chartered financial planner status in June 2011. In his 13 years working in the independent advice sector he has established a reputation for providing first-rate financial advice to individuals, families and small to medium sized businesses.

As Carbon’s newest consultant, Chris will advise Carbon’s corporate clients on a range of planning issues including corporate pensions planning and corporate protection. In addition, he will also advise the practice’s individual clients on their personal wealth management, insurance and retirement planning.
