Newport-based HardingEvans, one of South Wales’ leading law firms, has taken on a permanent digital marketeer following a successful Jobs Growth Wales placement.
Ashleigh Farrow, from Caerphilly, joined HardingEvans via ACT, Wales’ largest Apprenticeship provider, on a six month Jobs Growth Wales placement which was funded by Welsh Government. When the six months of her placement was up she had made such an impression on the firm that they made her a full member of staff.
Since starting at the firm, Ashleigh has helped strengthen its online presence, significantly increasing Twitter followers, improving its Klout rating and setting up a company Facebook page.
Ashleigh said: “I’ve really enjoyed my time here and was really pleased when they decided to make me a permanent member of staff. We’ve had very positive feedback for all our social media work to date and most importantly have seen our online efforts translate into new clients.”
Practice director Joy Phillips said: “An important part of our future development as a practice is continuing our investment in technology, including broadening our offering to clients via the internet, client portals and so forth. Part of that investment is continuing to develop the skills base of our staff and Ashleigh has demonstrated a good level of understanding and enthusiasm for helping us develop our digital presence during her placement.
“Ashleigh has proven herself to be a real asset, as well as her day-to-day digital marketing role she has assisted the wider marketing team with various initiatives. We are delighted that she has become a full time permanent member of our team.”
