To celebrate the opening, Red Key will also be offering new landlords 50 per cent off their set up fee and new tenants will receive a welcome pack when they move into their new home - including tea, coffee, chocolates, biscuits and wine.

“We’ve been really busy working in the Newport area for three years now letting hundreds of local properties,” says Red Key founder and MD Jamie Langley.

"We felt it was time to have a shop window for what we do. As well as a place for prospective tenants to see what is available locally, it’s a chance for anyone considering letting their property, or investing in a property, to drop in and talk to us.”

Red Key Property Services has moved into the city centre from the Langstone Business Park, and the Bridge Street premises will also act as the head office for its other bases in Bristol, Swansea and Cardiff.

The company is also be marking its arrival in Newport with an 'opinion formers' evening on October 3 – a chance for local business leaders to discuss the housing and property market as well as network.

“Newport is proving a real hot spot for renting property,” says Jamie. “It’s one of the few places where a good selection of new homes is being built, and we have many families keen to live here locally because of the convenient location close to Cardiff and Bristol.

“In Newport, you have the perfect combination of affordable properties for landlords to invest in, and competitive rents for tenants to pay.”
