The Centre for Business and Walter Hunter, Chartered Accountants, have arranged an Enterprise Day, which will take place on Thursday November 28 from 9am to 2pm on the first floor of Newport Market.
The day has been planned to give start-up businesses and established companies an opportunity to obtain advice from a range of experts gathered together in one location.
There will be no charge to attend, and anyone can drop in at any time and seek the professional advice they need. The banks, legal profession, funders, Newport City Council and insurers will be represented, as well as experienced accountancy/ tax advisors from Newport-based Walter Hunter and business experts from the Centre for Business.
Howard Thompson, business manager at Centre for Business, said: “We have been amazed at the enthusiasm for this event, both from the professionals that we have asked to assist us and from local businesses who we very much hope will see this as an ideal venue to discuss their business issues”
Jonathan Rhodes, director of Walter Hunter, said: “We are grateful for all the assistance and good wishes given during the planning of our Enterprise Day. This will be a fantastic chance for both people wanting to start their own business and those with already established organisations to get top-notch advice from professionals from many sectors.”
