One of South Wales’ leading family law specialists has recruited a new partner to help further strengthen its already leading position in the sector.
Solicitor Kate Thomas has joined HardingEvans’ family and matrimonial department as an expert in all aspects of matrimonial proceedings.
As well as being a member of resolution, Ms Thomas is also an accredited member of the children and advanced family panel.
Ms Thomas arrives at HardingEvans from another South Wales law firm where she has worked since qualifying in 1997 and has been a partner since 2005.
Ms Thomas said: “HardingEvans has an excellent reputation in the family law sector and I am looking forward to working as part of the team. I am passionate about family issues and have specialised in high profile and high value cases.
“The firm already works with clients across South Wales, South West England and London and I am keen to contribute to the future growth of the Department.”
Ceri Price, partner and head of the family department, said: “We were immediately drawn to Kate because of the quality of her experience and her reputation in the sector. Our team is comprised of highly experienced professionals and Kate will be a perfect fit for us.
“The last 12 months were very successful for the firm and we are planning for more of the same in 2014. Kate will undoubtedly have an integral role to play in this success and we are pleased to welcome her to the team.”
