WALES manager Chris Coleman was on hand this week to help launch a new networking partnership for the Football Association of Wales.
The FAW has teamed up with Introbiz, one of South Wales’ leading networking companies, to establish the Football Association of Wales Business Club, which will give businesses with interests in the sport sector and those who may want to be associated with the Wales football team, the chance to build relationships.
During the launch event, which was attended by 70 delegates at the FAW’s new £5m Football Development Centre at Dragons Park, Newport, Mr Coleman took part in a special Q&A session, while the delegates had a chance to network with FAW corporate sponsors.
Paul Smolinski, operations director for Introbiz said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with the FAW and give our members the opportunity to meet the sponsors that are already associated with the Welsh football team.
“Last year we hosted more than 70 independent business networking events at locations across the UK, which are designed to bring businesses together through strategic networking.
“This partnership with the FAW, and the Business Club we have established, will enhance this network and give organisations involved the chance to further expand their businesses.”
Ian Davis, head of commercial and marketing at the FAW, added: “Introbiz has proved to be one of the top networking businesses in South Wales over the past five years and has all the expertise and contacts to help the FAW Business Club achieve success.
“We are pleased to be associated with such a strong brand, and look forward to building on this relationship for the benefit of both the FAW and Introbiz.”
