Newport Market is among Wales’ most impressive new and regenerated building projects on the shortlist of the RICS Wales Awards.
RICS Wales has received 52 entries in the eight categories, from a total of 22 Projects.
Another local project on the shortlist is Mariners Quay, Newport.
Eight category winners and a Project of the Year will be selected from the shortlisted entries to the awards.
The winners from the Building Conservation, Community Benefit, Design through Innovation and the Regeneration categories will then be invited to represent Wales and compete against projects from across the rest of the UK, at the overall RICS Awards in London.
Ben Collins, Director RICS Wales, said: “The quality of entries received this year is truly outstanding and clearly demonstrates the fantastic work being carried out by property professionals. There is a wealth and variety of inspirational new projects and regenerated developments and I am sure it will be a challenging judging process.”
Judging for the awards will take place during the spring with the RICS Wales Awards ceremony being held on May 15.
