The second speaker is Az Ashraf, founder and director of Newport-based A2Z Computing, will speak about what types of viruses there are and how they attack your systems.
The ticketed event, which is open to all business people, takes place at the Holiday Inn, Newport on Tuesday March 18, 2014, at noon.
Janine Dance, chairman of the business club, said: “Computer viruses and scams are becoming more and more sophisticated with far more devastating effects on our businesses. A company can have its data wiped overnight with little to no chance of retrieval unless safeguards are in place. This talk will give simple ideas on what you can do and what you should look out for to protect your company.”
