One of Newport’s longest established healthcare organisations has strengthened its senior sales team with a new appointment.
Kay Brussalis-Davis has joined Newport-based, Plutus Health as business development manager. The not-for-profit company provides health plan packages for its personal and corporate members across Wales.
Kay’s role will principally involve adding to Plutus Health’s portfolio of corporate members, which includes Tata Steel, Seren Group, Newport City Council, Torfaen County Borough Council and Meritor.
With previous sales roles at the Western Mail and South Wales Echo, Courage Brewery, a South Wales property magazine, Knight Frank and most recently as business development officer at the South Wales Chamber of Commerce, Kay has fitted into the role seamlessly.
Kay, who lives in Caerleon, said: “Having worked in business development for many years, I have been lucky enough to gain good experience and a wealth of contacts, which will be extremely valuable in my new role at Plutus Health.
“Plutus has a great reputation in the area so I am looking forward to building on this and encouraging new businesses to discover the benefits that corporate health plans can deliver to a workforce.”
Plutus Health offers health plans and financial support towards medical procedures including dental and optical care, a range of therapies, and covering costs associated with hospital visits.
Andy Wilkins, chief executive at Plutus Health: “I am delighted to welcome Kay to the team. Her sales experience and her contacts in the area will bring a fresh outlook to the company.
“The health and welfare of staff is an important issue for employers. We want to emphasise that health cash plans are a cost-effective way of investing in staff wellbeing which positively impacts business productivity. The scheme has already been used by many businesses to help reduce absenteeism and boosting both morale and productivity. With Kay on board I am confident that we can add to our portfolio of members and continue to grow our business.”
