There are plenty of speakers, discussions and workshops on day two of Digital 2015 at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport.
Anthony Vanky will be the keynote speaker in the morning. He is partner strategist and researcher at the MIT Senseable City Lab, a multidisciplinary research group at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology that studies the interface between cities, people, and technologies. The laboratory investigates how the ubiquity of digital devices and the various telecommunication networks that augment our cities are impacting urban living. Anthony has widely presented on topics of design, technology and urbanism, including at Harvard University, Skanska Worldwide Research and Development, the World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the New York Center for Architecture, and published in both academic and popular publications, including Metropolis Magazine and the American Institute of Architects.
Other speakers will include Linked In for Business with Steve Jones of Social Selling and Big Data in Small Steps with Roger Govier.
On the Digital Entrepreneurs Stage there will be masterclasses and panel discussions featuring representatives for business and organisations including IndyCube, Liberty Marketing, the DVLA and General Dynamics.
Topics include Creating a Startup Environment, Getting your business noticed, Digital Transformation and the SME Opportunity, Raising Funding from a Digital Entrepreneur’s Perspective, and When to Expand your Horizons.
The Digital Innovation Stage will see discussion on cyber security, the digitalisation challenges within traditional industries, the Connected Home and Digital Best Practice.
There will also be panels and presenations on a range of issues including sport, finance, broadcast, entertainment and digital giving.
The day will end with the first anniversary meeting of Digital Tuesday.
