SPTS Technologies, a global leader in the semiconductor market which has a base at The Coldra, Newport, has picked up three awards as part of the seventh annual BVCA Management Team Awards.
The triple win includes CEO of the Year in Wales for SPTS president Kevin Crofton.
Mr Crofton was appointed to the top job in February 2014.
He has been with the company since formation in 2009 and has played a vital role in growing the company into one of the foremost players in its sector.
It has manufacturing facilities in Newport; Allentown, Pennsylvania; and San Jose, California, and across 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
It was for this global footprint SPTS picked up its second award for International Impact Management Team of the Year, alongside a third for Large Buyout Private Equity-backed Management Team of the Year.
These awards are produced by the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) in association with Grant Thornton UK LLP, and are designed to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the UK’s leading businesses backed by private equity and venture capital.
SPTS was backed by private equity house Bridgepoint from 2011 until its sale to Orbotech in July 2014.
All of the winners in the Wales final are now automatically entered into the national contest, the results of which will be announced at a ceremony in London on 25 June.
