A group of Chepstow-based yurt makers have turned a long-harboured dream into a reality through the launch Herf Yurts Ltd.
The new company specialises in hand-crafted sustainable yurts designed to provide an unrivalled event experience in an eco-friendly venue.
The company, which is founded by foursome Luke Farley, Tom Heggs, Ethan Wilson and Richard Petherick, who collectively have more than 22 years’ experience within the marquee industry, and have the necessary experience and ambition to provide an idyllically bespoke venue for any occasion.
The proud creators launched the new company with a 41ft flagship grand yurt which is reportedly the biggest in Wales. The hand-crafted yurt has taken five painstaking months to construct using ancient techniques to shape coppiced wood sourced within a 10-mile radius of Chepstow.
But the ambitious creators don’t stop there, and work in close unison to customise yurts to suit their customer’s specification, as well as offering a comprehensive event management service.
The grand yurt is the perfect eco-friendly venue for weddings, festivals, or parties, and can comfortably accommodate 130 people seated and more than 200 standing.
