UK businesses appear to be riding out the credit crunch, and the impact of a tougher borrowing environment has made little impression on corporate failures, according to industry figures released by Experian.But, while most regions have escaped with a fall in business failures over the final quarter of 2007 and in 2007 as a whole, Wales experienced a three per cent increase in business failures in 2007 compared to 2006 and a huge 39.8 per cent increase in Q4 2007 compared to the final quarter of 2006.
