Michelin star restaurant, The Crown at Whitebrook, has appointed internationally acclaimed restaurateur David Hennigan as its new general manager.
David, who has achieved coveted Michelin star and Bib Gourmand Michelin recognition during his multi award-winning career, starts at The Crown this month.
The previous general manager Michael Obray has a new position as general manager at an hotel in Gloucestershire with prestigious Von Essen hotels.
The Crown at Whitebrook, among Wales' first restaurant with rooms, achieved its first Michelin star in 2007. It's one of just two restaurants in Wales to hold the sought after award.
David Hennigan, a native of Liverpool, has worked as General Manager at leading restaurants including The Pheasant Inn, Cambridgeshire and the Michelin star Hunstrete House Hotel, Bath.
Most recently he and highly regarded chef Clive Dixon owned and managed pub-restaurant group Snooty Inns Ltd.
