Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets has appointed Paul Williams as a relationship director within the 24-strong South Wales and Severnside team.
Paul began his career with The Royal Bank of Scotland before moving to the Bank of Ireland, where he was head of Property and Business Finance. With 21 years experience behind him, he will now be responsible for business development, along with raising awareness of the bank's full range of flexible funding solutions to support customers across South Wales.
The Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets team have celebrated a number of high profile deals over the last few months including the management buyout of Glamalco Ltd, the £15.5m structured financing of IQE Systems and a £113m term loan for RCT Homes.
Jason Evans, director and head of corporate markets, South Wales said: "Paul's appointment reinforces our continued commitment to the South Wales market. He brings a unique perspective to the team as he has experience in the SME, corporate finance and property markets, all of which are key growth areas for both our customers and Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets."
