Ryan Farley of Newport who will cycle around the world for Cancer Research UK.
If you had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be and why?
A lift engineer because they would know exactly what to do in that situation.
What is your biggest fear?
Being stuck in a lift so let’s hope number one never happens.
Do you have any superstitions?
Not really just that you should never cross on the stairs.
If you could have one song on your iPod, what would it be and why?
It would have to be Mr Bojangles because that’s an all-time favourite of mine.
What's the most expensive thing you've bought not including your property?
For myself it has to be my much loved road bike.
What is the best piece of advice you've been given?
To always look to the future because you cannot change the past.
What's your indulgence?
Jam and cream scones from the ‘’Bakerlicious’’ bakery on Commercial Street.
What item could you not live without?
My road bike. I have spent many afternoons and weekends using it on the open road.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?
My time keeping because I’m always running late.
Where are you next going on holiday?
I wouldn’t call it a holiday but starting on July 6, 2014 I will be setting off to cycle 18,000 miles around the world for Cancer Research UK.
