FIVE MINUTES WITH.... Paul Williams, 47, the owner and baker at Happy Occasions Cakes in Cwmbran, who recently scooped two awards at the world’s biggest cake show
If you had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be and why?
Leonardo Da Vinci, I love his sketches and would hope he could give me a few tips for my cakes.
What is your biggest fear?
Spiders, anything that moves that fast is unnatural.
Do you have any superstitions?
Never put new shoes on the table, don't ask.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Abba - 'I do, I do, I do'. Memories of my wedding - we had a friend stand up and sing it while we were signing the register and everyone joined in, fab.
What is the most expensive thing you've bought, not including property?
My motorbike. I love the feeling of freedom while I'm riding.
What is the best piece of advice you've been given?
Follow your heart.
What is your indulgence?
Again my motorbike - it's an expensive boy's toy that I don't use half as much as I should.
What item could you not live without?
My iPhone, couldn't live without it.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
A gorgeous full head of hair - it's a long time since I had a fringe.
Where are you next going on holiday?
Spain. Alcudia apartment right on the beach, can't wait.
