If you had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be and why?
Elvis Presley – the man is an absolute legend. I grew up listening to his music and still play it today. There is a musical called All Shook Up based on his music which includes a phenomenal choral version of Can’t Help Falling in Love. I organised some friends to sing it for my sister’s wedding.
What is your biggest fear?
Snakes – I’m petrified of the things. My father made me watch the film Anaconda when I was younger that he said would get me over my fear. Needless to say it didn’t work.
Do you have any superstitions?
I’m very superstitious, I believe in a lot of them to be honest. Don’t step on the cracks, magpies, etc.
If you could have only one song on your iPod, what would it be and why?
Desperado, by The Eagles. It holds a very special place in my heart.
What’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought not including your property?
If only I could afford to buy a property in London! Probably my tax bill or my MacBook.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
“What other people think of you is not your business, that’s on them. Unless they are paying your bills, pay them no mind.”
What’s your indulgence?
Dominos pizza and fizzy sweets.
What item could you not live without?
As much as it pains me to say it, my mobile phone. Mainly because living away from home is tricky at the best of times and if I had no way of staying in touch with my family at home I’d be lost.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?
My build. I’m naturally slight so would ideally love to be broader, but it is what it is.
Where are you next going on holiday?
Me and a friend are flying to Italy. We’re going to Venice, Florence and Rome and then I’m flying to the US to stay for a week in New York. I fell in love with the city when I went last year and promised myself I’d be back.
