What is your biggest fear?

Heights. It is not the drop, its the hitting the ground at the bottom.

I greet magpies and I don’t walk under ladders, not usually at the same time.

Make Me Smile – Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel. It has made me smile for 40 years now.

What’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought not including your property?

Any family holiday during the school holidays.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

You get what you settle for.

Raw chocolate pie, Gower cottage brownies and malt whisky

What item could you not live without?

A big handbag.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?

My ability to get my teenagers out of bed – they have attic rooms, its a lots of stairs to keep going up and down.

Where are you next going on holiday?

The Isle of Skye (there is a whisky theme here).
