If you had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be and why?

I’d have to go for Russell Brand. He’s an odd ball, but he tells it like it is and a lot of politicians do not like him. That’s always a good sign.

What is your biggest fear?

Storms, which goes back to my childhood. I used to hide under the stairs and under chairs with my mum and I’ve never got over it. My daughters ring me any time there’s a storm as a result.

Do you have any superstitions?

No, I don’t believe in them.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Red Red Wine – Jimmy James and The Vagabonds. I love reggae, motown, and R & B.

What is the most expensive thing you’ve bought, not including property?

My computer, which is a Mac. I bought it last year.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given.

My Dad always told me to follow my instincts.

Ferrero Rocher.

My mobile phone.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Years ago, I wanted to look older and taller but I really don’t care now. I’m me and I don’t think I would change anything.

Where are you next going on holiday?

I’m going to Hourtin in France.
