Yet again Labour first minister Mark Drakeford has shown his contempt for the people of Wales.
We are all familiar with Labour's ever-growing list of failures, and industrial scale waste of public money. From education to health and the environment, Labour has failed.
Labour is now pushing through legislation to increase the number of assembly members by 36 costing taxpayers tens of millions of pounds a year.
The proposal will result in six assembly members for every constituency in Wales, making Wales population of 3.2 million one of the most governed countries in the world, other than communist China.
Our nurses and teachers are striking for better pay, while Mark is only concerned about making jobs for his pals at £67,920 a year, plus the cost of staff and an office.
The reality is very few people actually go to their assembly member for help, so we will have more costly AMs sat around twiddling their thumps trying to look busy.
If Mark is confident of public support for increasing the assembly to 96 let's have a referendum.
Carwyn Jones consulted the people before Wales was granted more powers.
Come on Mark. You claim to be a man of people, but deny them a voice.
Let the people speak, let's have a referendum.
Cllr Nigel Dix
