I ALWAYS note with interest letters about the relief road.

In the past I was courier and a bus driver and for 30 years there has been no decision on what to do. May I make an informed suggestion?
Magor to the east gate of Llanwern. From there through the site of the old works and then on south between Uskmouth and Bell terminal. Now we put a barrage in. We get the steel from Tata, we get the engineering from Rowcords.  That’s called thinking ahead.
We now have the river high, what shall we do with that? Maybe  we could generate power for rail transport. Only a  thought.
