HAVING read the Argus letter praising Malpas Library I am surprised that no one has mentioned the new and updated library we have in Bettws.


We now have a much improved service, including a children’s area (which was formerly just the foyer and main entrance to the building), an excellent instruction/lecture room seemingly produced out of nowhere! On the right hand side of the building a very well set out library with plenty of room to see your book selection with shelves clearly marked. We also have 6 computers with a new system for booking on.
Of course we still have our ‘same old staff’ of Julie, Carol, Sarah, Hayley and our Saturday Claire, all of whom are always available in their friendly manner to help ‘non computer’ nerds like me!
Yes our new library is excellent and well worth a visit to use the very good service. Should users find they have comments to make why not put them in writing?
