THE Lylac Ridge Animal Learning Centre in Risca has reached the finals of this year’s National Lottery Awards, and with the help of your readers it could win a £2000 cash prize.

Voting closes on midnight on Wednesday 24 July, and with one last push Lylac Ridge could be among the winners at a star-studded awards ceremony due to be broadcast on BBC One in September.
Lylac Ridge provides opportunities for children and young people across south Wales, particularly those who are disadvantaged, to grow emotionally and learn through interaction with one of the Centre’s 100 animals. It is the only Welsh finalist in the Best Education Project category, up against six other finalists.
The National Lottery Awards celebrate and recognise the inspirational and life-changing impact of National Lottery funded projects across all sections of society.
Voting is easy – simply go to lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/awards and register your support for Lylac Ridge.
