ON Friday evening, my husband and I attended A Midsummer Night’s Dream performed by the Festival Players. It was a jolly good production and we enjoyed it immensely. However, during the interval we went to use the facilities.
The toilets were clean, but the stench from them was disgusting. Also that evening, an American Gospel choir were singing before the play. I don’t know what they must have thought of these facilities.
Although a local club was there and we could have used it, obviously there was a long queue. I do think, in view of the number of tourists visiting the amphitheatre and barracks, that better facilities could be built. It is a disgrace to the local area.
