WE THE residents of the Greenway Estate Griffithstown, are thoroughly disgusted with Torfaen Council, despite many phone calls complaining about the state of our footpaths.
Nothing has been done, in some places, the weeds are 2ft high and the litter is awful as there are no litter bins.
We are a privately owned house and we pay a high community charge, is it too much to ask that they maintain our footpaths. Two years ago we took a petition to the mayor who said that something would be done and nothing has.
We know in other parts of Torfaen, example Cwmbran this doesn’t happen but why us?
