ON MY way to the Gower I decided to stop off at the Swansea Waterfront.
I cannot believe the difference between there and Newport, their council have made the very most of their river, and Maritime history. The marina is second to none, it beggars belief that Newport council has not even invested in a slipway to launch a boat in the Usk!
All I can surmise is if any Newport councillors have boats they must have them moored in Swansea or in the marina in Porthcawl, yes, a small town like that has seen sense! I honestly don’t know to whether laugh or cry.
