I AM writing in support of the national campaign to save lollipop people by Living Street, the charity that stands up for pedestrians.

Good quality crossings and local lollipop women and men are important for all pedestrians, particularly children on their way to and from school.
Our local lollipop people provide an excellent service helping children to cross the road safely, supporting them to develop road safety awareness. They provide extra eyes and ears on the road to help children lead an active lifestyle.
It takes two minutes to visit www.livingstreets.org.uk/lollipop, email your local councillors and tell them why you want them to maintain road safety budgets and protect lollipop people.
