WHILE people are only too quick to judge the bad things like delays, waiting times, nursing staff, or doctors, I would like to tell you about my experience, far better from the above, and to put the record straight.
My Story - On Sunday morning (28.7.13) I woke to excruciating pain in my left wrist. Thinking it would get better I left it, but it got much worse, so I rang the out of hours surgery. I got an appointment for 10.50 pm, the doctor thought it could be a fracture, so she wrote a letter and sent me down to the Royal Gwent Hospital’s A&E department.
I was told that there was no fracture but, I was being admitted as they may need to do surgery. The doctors, nurses and all staff were amazing and my stay of nearly five days were perfect, which means my recovery will be so much easier to cope with. May I also say that all parts of the hospital was spotlessly clean and my grateful thanks to everyone on D2 West.
