I AM a resident of Griffithstown. There is a footpath between myself and my neighbour which runs from Sunnybank road through the Greenway Estate. The litter bins were removed a few years ago and since then the footpath has never been cleaned by the council.


I have telephoned the council twice and also visited the council offices twice trying to get the bins replaced. All to no avail. Myself and a neighbour cleaned the litter on the footpath adjoining our properties since the removal of the bins.
If the council haven’t got anyone with the knowledge and skill to fit these litter bins I would be more than happy to do it for them at no cost to them.
